Solar Energy Modeling and Mapping for the Sustainable Campus at Monash University

An increase in energy demands and positive public acceptance of clean resources have contributed to a growing need for using solar cities. Solar photovoltaic (PV) deployment relies on suitable locations with high potential. In the urban context, building rooftops are often considered one most available PV installation. This work demonstrates new geospatial-method spatiotemporal modeling mapping potential based high-resolution (0.2 m) digital surface model (DSM) radiation dataset.
